It has been a while…………

 

Hi everyone!  It has been a while since I have written anything.  I have been thinking about my blogging---I read them everyday—rarely putting comments – then, I wonder why I don’t get any comments.  (Thank heavens for my precious daughter who usually leaves just a short note.)  I have been trying to ponder the direction that I want this to go. I think the menus are out.  I will put in various new and old recipes that I think you might enjoy.   I will also direct you to sites that have great recipes that I have tried.  I want things to be cute and fresh and fun to read. 

I am overwhelmed by what some people do with their blogs. 

My crafting----my yard sale & Goodwill shopping---and my painting----those are the important things to me right now.  (Of course, family comes in there first—but that is a given.)  I am also beginning on Christmas.  I know, Christmas?  We have just found out that we are going to have our 7th great-grandbaby in November.  That makes a total of  thirty seven (yes, 37) in the immediate family.  I love it.  And, no, I don’t want to draw names.  I am their mom, step-mom and Mimi.  Mimis do not draw names---so, I am making things. 

We will be traveling some this spring so I will do more blogging about areas and eating establishments.  I have my file folder of menus—and, I will be doing more of that kind of cooking.  When I do something to the house, I will show it to you.

I am on a tight budget right now—which is probably a good thing—because I do love to see what I can come up with for nothing.   I am working on my photography, too.
